شارك المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات في أعمال منتدى آفاق العمل 2026م، الذي تنظمه وزارة العمل في محافظة ظفار، ضمن فعاليات النسخة الثالثة من ملتقى العمل 2026م، المقام تحت شعار (رؤية وطن.. تمكين وعمل)، ويقدم المركز خلال المنتدى ورقة عمل بعنوان "مؤشر التنمية المستدامة (1.3.1) وقياس التغطية الفعلية للحماية الاجتماعية"، وذلك ضمن الجلسة الثالثة التي تحمل عنوان "السياسات الذكية لتعزيز كفاءة بيانات الحماية الاجتماعية"، والتي عقدت اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 28 يوليو 2026م. وقدمت الورقة الفاضلة سعاد بنت عبد الله بن سعود المعولية، مدير دائرة التقارير المعلوماتية بالمديرية العامة للمعلومات بالمركز، مستعرضةً أهمية مؤشر التنمية المستدامة (1.3.1) الذي يقيس نسبة السكان المشمولين بأنظمة الحماية الاجتماعية، بوصفه أحد المؤشرات الرئيسة لقياس مدى شمولية منظومة الحماية الاجتماعية وفاعليتها. كما تناولت الورقة دور المؤشر في تقييم كفاءة برامج الحماية الاجتماعية ومدى قدرتها على الوصول إلى الفئات المستحقة، وإسهامه في متابعة التقدم نحو تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ومستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040. وأستعرضت الورقة واقع المؤشر في سلطنة عُمان، وأهميته في دعم التخطيط الاستراتيجي وصنع القرار القائم على البيانات، بما يسهم في تعزيز الرفاه الاجتماعي وتطوير منظومة حماية اجتماعية أكثر شمولًا واستدامة. ووضحت الورقة أن مؤشر التنمية المستدامة (1.3.1) لا يقتصر على حصر أعداد المستفيدين من برامج الحماية الاجتماعية، بل يمثل أداة لقياس التغطية الفعلية لتلك البرامج، وتقييم كفاءتها في الوصول إلى الفئات المستهدفة، بما يساعد على تحديد الفجوات، وتحسين السياسات، وتطوير البرامج الاجتماعية، وصولًا إلى مستويات أعلى من الشمول والتمكين. وتأتي مشاركة المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات في المنتدى تجسيدًا لدوره الوطني في توفير البيانات والإحصاءات الرسمية، وتعزيز تكامل منظومة البيانات الوطنية، ودعم الجهات المعنية بمعلومات إحصائية دقيقة وموثوقة تسهم في رسم السياسات الاجتماعية، ورفع كفاءة التخطيط، ودعم صناعة القرار.

The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) took part in the Work Horizons Forum 2026, organized by the Ministry of Labor in Dhofar Governorate as part of the third edition of the Labor Forum 2026, held under the theme "A Nation's Vision... Empowerment and Employment". During the forum, the NCSI presented a working paper titled "Sustainable Development Indicator (1.3.1) and Measuring Effective Social Protection Coverage." The paper was delivered in the third session, "Smart Policies for Enhancing the Efficiency of Social Protection Data," held on Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Suaad bint Abdullah bin Saud Al Maawali, Director of the Information Reports Department at the Directorate General of Information, NCSI, outlined the importance of Sustainable Development Indicator (1.3.1), which measures the proportion of the population covered by social protection systems, as one of the key indicators for assessing the inclusiveness and effectiveness of a country's social protection framework. &nbsp;The presentation also highlighted the indicator's role in evaluating the efficiency of social protection programs and their ability to reach eligible beneficiaries. It further highlighted the indicator's contribution to monitoring progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. The paper reviewed the current status of the indicator in the Sultanate of Oman and emphasized its importance in supporting strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making, thereby contributing to enhance social well-being and the development of a more comprehensive and sustainable social protection system. It further explained that Sustainable Development Indicator (1.3.1) extends beyond simply counting the number of beneficiaries of social protection programs. Rather, it serves as a tool for measuring the actual coverage of these programs and evaluating their effectiveness in reaching target groups. This enables policymakers to identify coverage gaps, improve public policies, and enhance social programs, ultimately leading to higher levels of inclusion and empowerment. The participation of the National Centre for Statistics and Information in the forum reflects its national role in providing official data and statistics, strengthening the integration of the national data ecosystem, and supporting relevant entities with accurate and reliable statistical information that contributes to shaping social policies, improving planning efficiency, and supporting informed decision-making.

NCSI Showcases Sustainable Development Indicator (1.3.1) at the Work Horizons Forum 2026

أظهرت بيانات الإنتاج المحلي للعسل نموًا ملحوظًا خلال الفترة (2023–2025م)، حيث ارتفعت الكميات المنتجة من 623 ألف و313 كجم في عام 2023م إلى 765 ألف و54 كجم في عام 2024م، وصولًا إلى 934 ألف و443 كجم في عام 2025م.وتصدّرت محافظة شمال الشرقية المحافظات الأعلى إنتاجًا للعسل خلال عام 2025م بإجمالي 248 ألف و547 كجم، تلتها محافظة الداخلية بـ 176 ألف و428 كجم، ثم محافظة شمال الباطنة بـ 158 ألف و97 كجم، ومحافظة جنوب الشرقية بـ 128 ألف و120 كجم. كما سجلت محافظتا الظاهرة وظفار إنتاجًا بلغ 97 ألف و818 كجم و64 ألف و216 كجم على التوالي، في حين توزعت بقية الكميات على مختلف محافظات سلطنة عُمان بنسب متفاوتة، بما يعكس تنامي نشاط تربية النحل وإنتاج العسل في مختلف أنحاء سلطنة عُمان.وعلى صعيد البنية الإنتاجية، بلغ عدد المؤسسات العاملة في مجال تربية النحل وإنتاج العسل وشمع العسل 47 مؤسسة، إضافة إلى منشأتين تعملان في صناعة العسل الأسود (الدبس) وعسل السكر.وفيما يخص المزارع الإنتاجية ومحطات البحوث، أظهرت البيانات استقرار عدد وحدات النحل عند 12 وحدة خلال الفترة (2023–2025م)، ووحدات البحوث عند وحدتين خلال الفترة نفسها، بما يعكس استقرار البنية البحثية واستمرار جاهزيتها خلال الأعوام الأخيرة.أما على صعيد التجارة الخارجية، فقد سجلت واردات سلطنة عُمان من العسل الطبيعي المصفّى ما قيمته مليونان و131 ألف و292 ريال عُماني، تصدّرت الصين قائمة الدول الموردة لهذا المنتج بقيمة بلغت 541 ألف و881 ريال عُماني، تلتها الهند بـ 417 ألف و333 ريال عُماني، ثم المملكة العربية السعودية بـ 406 ألف و940 ريال عُماني، وأستراليا بـ 234 ألف و102 ريال عُماني، والإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 229 ألف و355 ريال عُماني.أما واردات العسل الطبيعي بشمعه أو المحتوي على قطع الشمع، فقد بلغت قيمتها 42 ألف و941 ريال عُماني، وجاءت تركيا في مقدمة الدول الموردة بقيمة 19 ألف و657 ريال عُماني، تلتها أستراليا بـ 17 ألف و556 ريال عُماني، ثم الإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 3 آلاف و251 ريال عُماني. كما بلغ إجمالي واردات خلايا النحل الخشبية 15 ألف و629 ريال عُماني، تصدّرت مصر قائمة مورديها بقيمة 9 آلاف و809 ريال عُماني، تلتها الإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 5 آلاف و793 ريال عُماني.وفي المقابل، بلغت قيمة الصادرات العُمانية من العسل الطبيعي المصفّى 648 ألف و274 ريال عُماني، حيث تصدّر لبنان قائمة الدول المستوردة بقيمة 246 ألف و272 ريال عُماني، تلتها قطر بـ 179 ألف و24 ريال عُماني، ثم الأردن بـ 118 ألف و18 ريال عُماني، والكويت بـ 55 ألف و247 ريال عُماني، والإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 36 ألف و406 ريال عُماني.كما شملت الصادرات العُمانية عسلًا طبيعيًا بشمعه أو محتويًا على قطع الشمع بقيمة 21 ألف و50 ريال عُماني إلى الإمارات العربية المتحدة، إلى جانب تصدير خلايا نحل خشبية بقيمة إجمالية بلغت ألف و400 ريال عُماني، توزعت بين المملكة العربية السعودية بقيمة ألف و320 ريال عُماني، والإمارات العربية المتحدة بقيمة 80 ريالًا عُمانيًا.وفيما يتعلق بحركة إعادة التصدير للعسل الطبيعي المصفّى، جاءت الصومال في المرتبة الأولى بقيمة 31 ألف و321 ريال عُماني، تلتها الإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 4 آلاف و884 ريال عُماني، ثم قطر بـ 3 آلاف و333 ريال عُماني.

Local production statistics indicated that, The Sultanate of Oman’s production of honey recorded significant growth during the 2023–2025 periods, with output increasing from 623,313 kg in 2023 to 765,054 kg in 2024, reaching 934,443 kg in 2025, according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).The data showed that, North Al Sharqiyah Governorate ranked as the largest honey producing governorate in 2025, with a total production of 248,547 kg, followed by Al Dakhiliyah governorate with 176,428 kg, North Al Batinah with 158,097 kg, and South Al Sharqiyah with 128,120 kg. Meanwhile, Al Dhahirah and Dhofar produced 97,818 kg and 64,216 kg, respectively. The remaining production was produced by the other governorates of the Sultanate of Oman in varying quantities, reflecting the continued expansion of beekeeping and honey production nationwide.In terms of production infrastructure, 47 establishments were engaged in beekeeping and the production of honey and beeswax, in addition to two facilities are producing black honey (molasses) and sugar honey.Regarding production farms and research stations, the number of beekeeping units remained stable at 12 units throughout the 2023–2025 periods, while research units remained unchanged at two, reflecting the stability of the sector’s research infrastructure and its continued operational readiness.Trade-wise, the Sultanate of Oman’s imports of strained natural honey reached a total value of 2.131 million OMR. China was the leading supplier, accounting for 541,881 OMR, followed by India with 417,333 OMR, Saudi Arabia with 406,940 OMR, Australia with 234,102 OMR, and the United Arab Emirates with 229,355 thousand OMR.Imports of natural honey in the comb or containing pieces of comb amounted to 42,941 OMR, while Türkiye ranking first among suppliers at 19,657 OMR, followed by Australia at 17,556 OMR, and the United Arab Emirates at 3,251 OMR. Meanwhile, imports of wooden beehives totaled 15,629 OMR, led by Egypt with 9,809 OMR, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 5,793 OMR.Data indicated that, the Sultanate of Oman’s exports of strained natural honey reached a value of 648,274 OMR. Lebanon was the leading destination, importing honey worth of 246,272 OMR, followed by Qatar with&nbsp;&nbsp;179,024 OMR, Jordan with 118,018 OMR, Kuwait with 55,247 OMR, and the United Arab Emirates with 36,406 OMR.Oman also exported natural honey in the comb or containing pieces of comb valued at OMR 21,050 to the United Arab Emirates. In addition, exports of wooden beehives totaled&nbsp;&nbsp;1,400 OMR, of which 1,320 OMR was exported to Saudi Arabia and 80 OMR to the United Arab Emirates.With regard to the re-exports of strained natural honey, Somalia ranked first with imports valued at 31,321 OMR, followed by the United Arab Emirates at 4,884 OMR, and Qatar at 3,333 OMR.

سجلت محافظات سلطنة عُمان 5 آلاف و560 حادث حريق خلال عام 2025م، بارتفاع نسبته 12 بالمئة مقارنة بعام 2024م الذي شهد تسجيل 4 آلاف و966 حادث، وذلك وفق البيانات الصادرة عن الكتاب الإحصائي السنوي 2026 للمركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وأظهرت البيانات تفاوتًا واضحًا في توزيع هذه الحوادث بين المحافظات، حيث تصدرت محافظة مسقط القائمة بأعلى نسبة بلغت 32.1 بالمئة من إجمالي حوادث عام 2025م، بواقع ألف و785 حادثًا، مقابل ألف و577 حادثًا في عام 2024م. وفي المرتبة الثانية جاءت محافظة شمال الباطنة بنسبة 20.7 بالمئة وبعدد ألف و149 حادثًا، مقارنة بألف و95 حادثًا في العام السابق. كما سجلت محافظة الداخلية ارتفاعًا بنسبة 10.3 بالمئة وبواقع 572 حادثًا عام 2025م، مقابل 423 حادثًا عام 2024م، في حين سجلت محافظة الوسطى أقل عدد من حوادث الحرائق بنسبة 0.8 بالمئة وبواقع 42 حادثًا فقط.وعلى صعيد أنواع الحرائق بحسب المنشآت والمواقع، تصّدر المرافق السكنية المركز الأول للعام الثالث على التوالي، حيث بلغ عدد حوادثها عام 2025م نحو ألف و714 حادثًا، بنسبة 30.8 بالمئة من الإجمالي، مقارنة بألف و530 حادثًا عام 2024م. وحلت المخلفات في المرتبة الثانية بألف و252 حادثًا عام 2025م بنسبة 22.5 بالمئة، مقابل ألف و173 حادثًا عام 2024م، وجاءت وسائل النقل ثالثة بألف و167 حادثًا عام 2025م بنسبة 21.0 بالمئة، مقارنة بألف و70 حادثًا عام 2024م.

The governorates of the Sultanate of Oman recorded 5,560 fire incidents in 2025, an increase of 12% compared with 2024, when 4,966 incidents were reported, according to data from the Statistical Yearbook 2026 issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).The data showed a clear variation in the distribution of fire incidents across governorates. Muscat Governorate topped the list, accounting for the highest share at 32.1% of the total incidents recorded in 2025, with 1,785 incidents compared with 1,577 incidents in 2024.North Al Batinah Governorate ranked second, accounting for 20.7%, with 1,149 incidents compared with 1,095 incidents in the previous year. Al Dakhiliyah Governorate recorded an increase of 10.3%, with 572 incidents in 2025 compared with 423 incidents in 2024. Al Wusta Governorate recorded the lowest number of fire incidents, accounting for 0.8%, with only 42 incidents.In terms of fire incidents by type of facility and location, housing facilities ranked first for the third consecutive year, with around 1,714 incidents recorded in 2025, representing 30.8% of the total, compared with 1,530 incidents in 2024.Residues came second, with 1,252 incidents in 2025, accounting for 22.5%, compared with 1,173 incidents in 2024. Transportation ranked third, with 1,167 incidents in 2025, representing 21.0%, compared with 1,070 incidents in 2024.
